(The columns at the entrance were from the original Maplewood Hotel that stood on this property, the cottages were behind the hotel.)
Cottage #2 is your place to relax!
(When restoring the cottages, I tried to bring a bit of the past along and incorporate these elements as the cottages begin their new lease on life.)
At different times in the season the garden is bursting with color!
(The garden beds were originally outlined with fieldstone; 90% of the stones were still there, though most had to be dug up after years of neglect.)
Sit in the garden and enjoy a good book as the birds provide the soundtrack!
(The red chair was sitting in nearly the same spot when I first discovered the property. After having sat out in the elements for a number of years, it was weathered but not rotted. A good sanding and some new paint give it new life.)
There is ample parking just outside the garden!
(The honeysuckle creates a canopy over the walkway into the garden.)
